  The project started with labeling each log so that once they were removed they could be re-erected in the correct place.

After the logs were disassembled they were sorted into the logs to be kept and those to be replaced. It is easy to see how rotten many of the logs were.

The next step was to construct a new foundation for the cabin.

New logs now make up the first round of logs at the base of the cabin as the original logs were rotten and had to be replaced. The re-stacking of logs continues.
